Emme Paulino and Aaron Gomez are in the fifth grade, but are already making a big difference in their community!
A pair of young HSEP volunteers teamed up to help animals in their community. They hosted a donation drive to benefit the animals at the Humane Society of El Paso. Not only did these amazing youngsters make a difference for the homeless animals at the HSEP, but they also won their school's prestigious Humantarian Award! They will forever be honored on a plaque in the school's front office, received medals for the honor, and were each given $125 for their college funds.
A little love and compassion goes a long way, especially when it is taught at a young age. The Humane Society of El Paso is honored that Emme and Aaron chose this shelter to open their hearts too!
