32nd Annual Happiness Happens Here Telethon Presented by Mark Worley!
Over thirty years ago an idea emerged – to do a live broadcast where viewers can take a firsthand look at what the Humane Society of El Paso (HSEP) is all about. While over the years the location, day, staff, and animals have changed, but one thing has remained the same – Telethon is HSEP’s opportunity to spotlight the homeless animals in the El Paso community looking for a home and the life-saving work that happens daily at HSEP. Fast forward to 2025, the Humane Society of El Paso is excited to invite you to tune in for the 32nd Annual Happiness Happens Here Telethon Presented by Mark Worley on August 2, 2025 from 4:00 – 11:00 p.m. on KVIA ABC 7!
The Humane Society of El Paso focuses on providing lifesaving care to homeless animals in the El Paso community. Whether a dog or cat calls the humane society their temporary home for a day, week, month, or year – it is our goal to make their stay here as comfortable as possible. This includes providing on-site medical care, enrichment activities, food, shelter, and lots of love.
HSEP is many different things, but in every area and every program, HSEP is happiness. We want to invite you to join paws with us for the 32nd Annual Happiness Happens Here Telethon Presented by Mark Worley. Tune in to KVIA ABC 7 on August 2 for all the fun and help HSEP create happiness!
You can make a difference in the lives of homeless, vulnerable animals.
In 2024, HSEP was able to care for over 4,000 animals through shelter residents and the Mary Speer Community Cat Program. Nearly 1,800 shelter animals celebrated their adoption day! Volunteers and foster families gave over 44,000 hours of care for homeless animals, including orphaned puppies and kittens. All of this would not be possible if it weren’t for your generous support!
For every $500 you donate, you will receive a homemade painting done by one of the HSEP shelter residents. Paintings will be available for pick up at the Humane Society two weeks after Telethon.
